Who makes them, Jon? (I know, I'm showing that I haven't been in a sports store in ages LOL) I would guess it's getting time for a new pair for me. As soon as my ankle stops swelling up so badly by the end of the day I need to start a walking/running program. Just takes a while for tendons to heal, I guess.

I missed it. Looks like a goofy sneaker...

Where is the segway or DS tie in?

Link to TIME magazine's "The Most Amazing Inventions of the Year" from last November.

The Adidas 1 entry is just two entries below the Centaur entry.

Unless Kevin Bacon wears Adidas 1 shoes while gliding on a HT and playing his (Nintendo GameBoy) DS, I think that's about as close a tie-in as there is.

I thought the tie in - was the guy from OK whose family is in show business - who wears those shoes with springs in the heel. I never even thought about Kevin Bacon! - I think we should start the rumor that Pam lends her HT to Kevin whenever he is in town. - And see how that changes as it is passsed around SC!

Will,

I know you were jesting but I heard it was true. Apparently he was once engaged to her best friend...
