Default Chinese Segway / Electric Chariot

Has anyone used these Segways from china. They look like they're built well with most if not all the features of a Segway. The price is $2280 for there i2 and $100 more to get there X2 tires. Chose of colors, kick stand, 33 miles on a charge. You can use one or two batteries. The batteries are $250 each.

Looks VERY interesting.

Looking for feed back if anyone knows about these Electric Chariot

I see the ad. I have seen no evidence of a single private sale. I too would wonder what the actual machine is like.

I would not send the money as they request.

Sounds safe, but who holds the escrow?

Have you or anyone here actually seen one of these machines? I would love to, but have not seen anything yet other than teases on the internet.

I would want to see some private owners, somewhere. You tube should have some at least, that are not from the sellers. And they may exist, I just have not seen them yet.

Just got done sending a few emails back and forth with them and they also accept PayPal. Shipping to to my door $350. If I buy 2 he will drop the price to $2000 each. It's sounding more interesting.

Default Customs seizure

Don't be shocked if they're shipped in from China and seized by customs for violating Segways patents here in the US. The Chinese will have your cash the federal government will have the Segway and you'll be tied up with more problems and expense than buying one here stateside.

Not too concerned about that as patents only last 7 years.

You're terribly misinformed, and perhaps should try to educate yourself. Go ahead send the money..."a fool and his money are soon parted"

It does sound interesting. Unfortunately, also a bit too easy. I know of, but am not familiar with Alibaba, and Paypal will not refund the money if you do not get it, only if they do not ship it. (I believe) Also, Paypal does not warranty anything, so if an empty box, or an envelope with an I.O.U. arrives, paypal pays them.

My concern is this. If this deal is so good, why have we not heard of people doing this and being happy? Have you seen any You Tubes of people who did what you are going to do? People you tube their new segways all the time.

I wish you luck. They may have just started selling yesterday, which would account for the lack of press. You may have found a great deal. You may not loose all your money. I just do not know.

However it goes, please keep us on this forum informed. Post your pictures of the new machines, especially against any other real segways you may have. Their standard tire is the same size as a segway tire (As advertised, anyway) so the machines should be pretty comparable.

Good luck. Find out how to say glide, glided, glode in Chinese, and report back.
