Tightening the handlebar
The handlebar seems to move too easily or is too sensitive. While trying to stand still, well I just cant, it needs constant input.
Is there an adjustment? This is an early i2 second generation. |

The handlebar is clamped on tight and doesn't move at all, so I'm guessing your question is about the lean steer
It may be that your lean steer post isn't set to vertical and yes, you can adjust that. When it's slightly off center (leaning just a bit to one side) it can cause the problem you're having. It's clamped to the shaft, so you can loosen the big allen bolt, shift it to center and tighten it up again. There is also a quick release kit sold by Segway where you can lift a lever to release it, remove it completely and reinstall it just by clamping the lever down again Anyway, if you're holding it vertical while standing still and it tries turning you in a circle, then it's not centered and getting it centered should solve your problem Don |

Lean steer is what I should have called it. Thank you for the cure.

I rechecked the operation today and it's fine, no adjustment needed. If I didn't think about holding it steady it was fine
