Default Lean Steer Adjuster Fix

Hello all, here is my latest project. I just hate it when I pull on the handlebar and it slips upward.

I have posted a project on the WIKI site with my fix.

Improvement on the adjustment knob

Don't forget to post your projects on the WIKI, that's what it's there for.

A single little washer added to the knob completely fixed my problem, as you have pictured in your project.

Default increasing knob size

Does anyone have a suggestion for adding something to the tightening knob to make it bigger, and easier to grip - especially when wearing gloves?

And while they are at it, please change the shape to hexagonal or octagonal. I find it difficult to crawl under a car to retrieve the sections of this as they roll away from me if accidentally dropped. I have a small wad of blue "tack-it" putty to hold the pieces together...and it does help.

Looks like a great little tool.
Is there a website we can order?

I just accept orders via Paypal and private message. They are $15 shipped.

This modification doesn't make the knob bigger, but it is easier to grip.

Lightbulb Bring it back

Anyone remember the original intended design that never made it into production (or at least, was never sold - H&S issues again if I recall)? This looked best in my opinion and would be easy to grip:

I think the thing many of you are forgetting is that by increasing the friction against the shafts without increasing the torque you have to put on the thread is a VERY GOOD thing.

That is a very small diameter screw that you really don't want to strip!
