Lego Mindstorms Discontinued

I'm truly saddened to hear this news. A good portion of the last four or five months of 2003 was spent by myself and my school's Lego robotics team building mindstorm robots to compete in the FIRST Lego League competition, so I've got quite an attachment to the little pieces.

No no no no, this cant be true. I am very close to FIRST and I have not heard any of this. Next years game is already made and on its way through testing now.

No, that report was erroneous and a subsequent press release from Lego cleared up the confusion:
