I have a brand new Ninebot ES2 version 1.3, I took it for the first drive today and it's amazing, but every time I try to turn on the headlight, it engages the brakes and kills power - any ideas?

Other solution is to just ignore it and buy an external headlight and attach to the handlebars, this is probably much safer anyway as they are much brighter than the build in headlight. |

You can also solder a resistance inside the motherboard and it will work. If someone live in sweden I can help. If not watch on internet for that solution.
