I2 and X2 Segways looking for a good home.
Hi, I'm the founder of the defunct company Segsaddle - we made a seat for the X2 and i2 Segways. Long story short we shut down the company right after Segway got acquired by the Chinese company.
My wife and I have finally decided to get rid of our personal Segways, two X2 and one i2 - and the five other i2 units left over from Segsaddle. We have kept the three personal units inside our air conditioned garage with a cycling charger so the batteries are still good. The X2s have 372 miles and 797 miles on them and the i2 has 365 miles on it. The five Segsaddle units, with bad batteries, are in an air conditioned storage unit, and all work with good batteries. We are ready to get rid of all of them, and I’d like to find them a good home. Which is to say my minimum price is the cost of shipping them to wherever you are if I decide to sell them to you. I reserve the right to decide who I'll sell them to, with priority to a buyer who has a good use for them, i.e. medical need. I'm also interested in anyone who will take all of the remaining Segway stuff, tires, etc. The units are all in San Antonio Texas. Here is a list of the units, and a summary of their status. Model Serial Number Mileage Segway Status Battery Status x2, 062511026628, 372 working working x2, 062511026597, 797 working working i2, 062501026428, 365 working working i2, 072361035291, 437 working dead i2, 072011026880, 1,795 working dead i2, 072011026869, 1,948 working dead i2, 062411024539, 2,054 working dead i2, 072011026790, 2,569 working dead If I haven't heard anything by the end of June 2019 I will start looking at recycling these. You can email me at [email protected] if you are interested. Many thanks, Brian
