Thumbs up 2006 i2 alive and well.

My 2006 i2 is still alive and perfoming well and delivering great enjoyment.
I added a seg seat; did an X2 conversion; added a golf kit; saddle bags. Put in a new set of batteries because one died.

Last winter I discovered that the radio board was now faulty and therefore not allowing reliable start-ups in cool weather (-4 degrees C, here Downunder). Annoying at best when stopping a few kms from home and not always easily able to access a power point.

Time to put in a new radio board. The only reliable solution. Paid my money and got a newly programed board for my specific model. The swap was straightforward. A careful, patient approach allowed the dissassembly and radio board swap without any casualties. On reassembly the i2 fired up without a hitch. Time to add some more kms to the tally.

Now back to enjoying my i2 in the 39 degree C summer here Downunder, and during the cool winters as well. 😎
