Just curiosity, on your screenshot I see an option, follow mode on. What does this exactly do?
Just in case that people can't use the tool, which values do you need to set for those 4 checkboxes: sound on, follow mode on, postpone shutdown ..., postpone follow mode ...? I can't remember any mentioning about these options in any of the older key making threads.
Well, to be honest, I don't know either! I got the information a long time ago, and I just typed in what I have written down for the names of the option bits.

I suspect most of these options are ignored in production models, or have different meanings than they originally had. That's why I need the feedback from other people to tell me what their keys report!

With the keys that I received from the factory, Sound and Follow mode options are on. Both postpone options are off. Flipping these options on my version 12 platform seems to make no difference...

Okay, the latest compiled version shouldn't even need the .BPL files... Alas, it also has grown from 120K to 631K from absorbing the stuff that used to be dynamically linked in...

The "follow mode" is the same as the "power assist mode".
So you can remove it from the interface, because you have the follow mode timer just below.

Joseph,
Had the same problems as the others and will redownload. I am running the software on a Mac using Virtual PC (for the benefit of other Mac Users) and I thought it was just my set up. If you still have spare sets of the usb hardware, are you able to send to me in the UK?

Sorry, slight case of 'Do not engage mouth until brain is in gear'. Have downloaded the drivers from the Dallas semiconductor site and can now report the software launches under Virtual PC on a Macintosh. Let me know if you can send the usb hardware bits to the UK, otherwise will order direct. Oh yes, and many thanks for distributing this software!!!

We actually are beta testing the Segway Key Copy software that will be available from Segway Inc later on this year to its dealers. It doesn't quite have all the features as the ToyBuilders version but is OE. It is pretty much the same program that they used at SegfesT and will allow change in turning, speed, and timeout (It is still a DOS program though) As far as parts go... EmbeddedDataSystems.com, a great company and they ship internationally.

Looks good -- thanks!

I was frettin' over how I would calculate the CRC's with the 14.1 options after I get the upgrade, since Lipinsky's Excel solution doesn't handle them. Now I don't have to worry about it.
