DIY Comfort Mat
I was tired of my feet becoming sour when I did my gliding. I saw the comfort mats for sale on Inc and thought I could make them. I went to a local store Harbor Freight and bought some floor mats ($9.99 for 4). I also saw them an amazon.com for about $15 if there's not a Harbor Fright near you. There a 1/2 inch thick, the stock ones at Inc are 3/8. Nice and comfy. I then took off my mat as a stencil and traced it. Then started to cut it out with scissors and found out that a razor knife works better. Then used hot melt glue to hold it on. If I need to replace it it comes off EZ but holds it on fine. Works great. OK I know it's not a stock item and it dose not look perfect. But now my feet are no longer sour. I thought I would pass this on to my fellow gliders.

Great minds think alike !
Brilliant!!!!
I've put alot of miles on that bad boy. If you leave a couple of "tabs" you can avoid the glue. Regards, Alan

Unfortunately for you two, not only great minds, but also feeble ones think like that... I even made a set for someone at Jared's get together in September...
Now, these were my first set, for my i2, as you can see. I have moved onto, now hold onto your hats... A black one... (Still aftermarket foam...)

Alan, I was conceeding that you two had the great minds. The feeble comment was an attempt at self depreciating humor...
I am honored that you did not so easily understand that the feeble comment was associated to my mind... Others would not have so much difficulty in calling me that! LOL

Stingray,
The xt from Sam's Club took about one week to arrive after it was delivered. And, I've been using anti-fatigue mats (home made) for over three years now, and my factory mats hardly look worn...

Tom, maybe I am misunderstanding you, but was is it delivered to a different location first before it arrived to you? And if it was, how long did it take to be delivered there before it arrived at your place?
Also congratulation on your bookings. Looks like your off to great start. Keep it up. Thanks Craig |

Once the XT's were picked up by Yellow Trucking from the Sam's Club wharehouse it took one week for me to receive them. And, they came in better condition than the units I had sent from Segway Inc.
I was very pleased with my Sam's Club experience...
