Default New Segway owner problem

I just purchased my segway in Dec. 2008 and had my first flight with it. Two problems arose, first when I turned it off at security, it did not start again...I am thinking this may be a charge problem. Second, the main shaft/handlebars got turned a bit and I don't know how to get them straight again. Can anyone give me advice?

Thanks!

Christina

Being so new, I would check back in with your dealer...

As far as the control shaft (the aluminum shaft) and the handlebar being twisted from center, that is not too difficult.

There is a 5 millimeter bolt that is located in the triangular base of the control shaft. You need to loosen the, bolt a little, then center the shaft, then tighten the bolt again.

There are some wires in that shaft so if it has spun all the way around, that should be checked out. If just moved a small amount, you should be able to move it back...

It is in your owner's manual, if you have one.

Good luck.

Default Model?

What model Segway did you purchase. It makes a difference for the response.
