Help Wanted - Segway Tours from Home!

Segway Tours of Gettysburg (www.SegTours.com) is looking for a responsible adult to do customer service by phone and email. After a couple of days of training, the work can be done at home. Location (in the U.S.) doesn't even matter.

Responsibilities include taking and confirming reservations and responding to phone and email inquiries. A business cell phone will be provided but a personal computer (and the knowledge to use it) and high-speed internet connection is required.

It is not full-time work but the right person(s) for this position will need to be available to answer the phone at almost any time of day or night. There may be 0-2 calls/emails per daylight hour with busier bursts at times, especially in the morning and on weekends. There might even be a call at 6am or 10pm (e.g., regarding a change to an 8am reservation) but that is unusual.

The volume of work will slow as cold weather approaches. In the past, we have been closed from December-February.

This may be an ideal job for a stay-at-home parent or person with mobility issues. Emails and some voicemails can be addressed around other responsibilities, childrens' schedules, etc.

Fair compensation will be worked out but will be based on the amount of work performed, not an hourly rate.
