I like them.
One of the typical problems with this kind of device is the tiny wheels. I wonder if the small track types, as opposed to the wheel types, deal with irregular surfaces or holes better. This is not quite something that I would look to for transportation, in that it seems yet to be very balance intensive, but there is a large sub set of transportation that uses skateboards, and in line skates (as well as heelys) and this may be a good fit in those circles. At least that is where it is likely to start.
