Anyone with Segway air travel experience
I have an I2, but contemplating purchasing a Generation 1 Segway, so that I can travel on the airlines with non-lithium batteries.
For anyone that has traveled airlines with their Segway, how do you manage to get the Segway into a rental car or cab at the airport to reach your destination? I cannot pick-up a Segway by myself and traveling with ramps seems totally impracticle? I would appreciate knowing someones creativity to avoid that situation. Thanks. |

The folks at the rent-a-car lot will help you load and unload (take extra dollar coins) When you get to your hotel, call the desk on your cell phone and ask for assistance. If you're going to a restaurant make sure you have their phone number, etc., etc.
Take lots of dollar coins.
