Default Segway XT Lithium-Ion Battery Longevity?

Segway XT Lithium-Ion Battery Longevity?

Hi, folks. I'm considering buying a built-in-2006 XT with new OEM batteries installed in July of 2015.

I'd like to have some idea of how long these batteries might last if the Segway was kept plugged in or charged at least once a month. Big ifs, but it's a starting point.

I don't know how many charge cycles are on this pair of batteries. Is this something that can be checked on the Segway without equipment only a dealer would have? I haven't found anything like this in the XT's PDF manual.

Thanks for all input!
