Segway PT Battery Connector?
Has anyone sourced a compatible battery connector which will connect to PT batteries?
I have a load of "dead" segway i2's that I am looking to turn into "off board chargers" and the limiting factor so far is the connector. I searched this board, but have not seen anything as of yet. Any clue to a part number on these connectors? |

Plug me in!
You could just mount the PowerBases upside down, and drop the battery packs on top to charge. For convenience, you might need to put a small mirror underneath so you can view the colour of the Charging LEDs.
But perhaps a more elegant solution is to look on eBay. There is a gentleman ("eurosegway" from Czech Republic) who can make the custom leads terminating in the plugs you are looking for. He and various other people have been making their own 3D-printed, which is another way you could make them yourself, as there might be patterns our there in the public domain. Or perhaps you could prise them off old CU Boards extracted from dead PTs (but they're very well soldered onto the boards, and you still need to insulate your finished cable to make what you're doing electrically safe.
