Ryno
I haven't noticed any posts here on this vehicle. I saw in Popular Science that it will do 25 MPH, has a 30 mile range, and charges in 1.5 hours.

Doesn't look like it's in production yet, so all that remains to be seen. Also, from what I've seen, it requires a significant degree of skill to ride.

Wow that looks absolutely fabulous. Between Segways, the uno and now this, our EV transportation options just got a whole lot better. 30 mile range, 25 MPH top speed, road legal from the off (probably), small footprint, cool looking fat tyre. Cheaper than a Segway, redundant systems, a seat but not sure about parking.

I bet our wonderful DfT would find something with which to ban it

So far, I don't see any videos showing evasive maneuvering, emergency stops, etc. Everything I've seen show it driving very carefully...
(and they need to stop referring to it as a "bike", for all the obvious reasons) Last edited by PeteInLongBeach; 01-16-2011 at 04:42 PM.. |

It seems fairly manoeuvrable. But I would also like to see more videos, more tests, especially braking like you say. Something like the test videos demonstrated for the YikeBike.
