This place is hopping!
I'm Baaaaack!
HAPPY 4th Of July everyone! It's amazing how many people are here viewing the forums on any given day. Used to be only about 10-20 on here at the same time. These days, I see 80 or more viewing the threads at once. Is this the year of the Segway??? Anyway, good to be home after a long hiatus. FYI, I've been a dad now for 18 months! Still standing (and gliding)! Peace all, it's good to be back. Here's Jericho (and Joshua)...

Just kidding, glad to have you back. Now, when can we again have some entertaining discussions? If you think it's fun to be a father just wait until your a grandfather. Steven Last edited by Desert_Seg; 07-04-2007 at 02:05 PM.. |

Thanks for the welcome back. I prefer "Neo-Hippy" but liberal, progressive, peace-nik, yada yada, it's all good. Lol. Maybe as the mane thins, I'll get more and more conservative... NOT! This time, I'm backing OBAMA. Is he moderate enough for ya'??? He sure can raise money. ; ) To be continued in the "off-topic" forum, as always. Going back out to the bbq. It's over 100 degrees here today. Gotta swim or roast! Peace.

Well, I haven't decided yet but it sure ain't Hilary! Obama has some good qualities but only time will tell.
Only 100 degrees? That's plain balmy. We hit 108 today with 90% humidity. Lucky me, I got asked to give demos when I stopped at a coffee shop. Oy vey was I soaked! Enjoy the BBQ, our celebrations are on Friday and I'm hosting some of our fine young Sailors! Steven |

Buck,
We could have used you in the Santa Monica parade this morning. We had a quality parade but could have used a few more gliders. It being Santa Monica there were groups such as vets against the war. Please join in for some local seg stuff. -Fred |

Sorry Fred,
I got the e-mail but was tied up with family, etc. Please keep me in the loop. I'm hoping to become more active in the Seg community. Peace.

Congrats! I'm in Steve's position.. Grandfather of an 19 month. I got a child "backpack" from Babies-R-Us and have a great time gliding with her.
