Hello from Upstate NY

[The itch]

I have been browsing this site for a couple of months. I am wondering if their are any other Segway owners in the upstate area.
I am awaiting a delivery of a used X2 SE. It is suppose to have dead batteries but when last used performed as it should. I took a chance and will soon see how lucky I am. When received I will check the voltage and possibly try the battery recovery avenue.
I have never ridden a Segway but look forward to it carrying me around the golf course.

Thank you Airedale. My machine arrived on Tuesday and I have sent one of the batteries to MTO to hopefully get revived. Fingers crossed! I wish I could find other riders in upstate NY. I would love to be able to put another battery together with mine to test the machine.

I received my battery back from MTO today and I got really lucky. Jason was able to revive the rear battery, unlock it, and recharge it. His feeling were that after a couple of cycles it would be a very strong battery. I am so glad there are good people out there to offer their services. I would highly recommend MTO.
