Postage from the US?

Hi all

Is there anyone on here based in the USA who could do me a favour? I'm trying to track down a pickhead axe and I like this one on Amazon but they don't ship it to the UK. And they just don't seem to sell this type of axe in the UK.

Would someone be willing to take delivery and then forward it on to me in the UK? I would cover all costs of course! I bought an axe on eBay from the states recently and it was sent no problem but it turned out the axe was too small - I need a 36" one.

If you think you can help and you've been around on here for a while, I'd really appreciate it.

Of course I'd be willing to offer a similar favour to fellow Segwaychatters if there's anything in the UK that you can't get your hands on.

Is this product legal in the U.K.? Is that why it can't be shipped by Amazon and none of its type sold in the U.K.

You can buy similar in the UK but not quite the same. The fire axe style with the size and shape I want seem to be mainly available in US. There are import duties to pay, and as I said, I ordered a smaller one recently without any issue (vintage too but too small, I want the big one).

So there is nothing untoward about my request. Amazon just don't post everything international. Some things they do, some they don't. I don't think there's a huge market for these axes.

So, if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

Just to say, I resorted to use a parcel forwarding service and I now have my axe
