17 Oct Glitch? Thanks for fixing it quickly
Just curious - what caused the forum to be unusable this morning? How hard was it to bring it back up? Did you have to go back to a previous save or were all active posts preserved?
It is interesting that we have become so used to 7/24 access to the site, that when it is down, even for a little while, one can feel "disconnected from their community" I think that emotional reaction, which I am sure happened all over the country this morning, is a tribute to how well you guys have built and nurtured this community. Thanks for getting it back up so quickly! Peter Beck Arlington, Virginia |

Hi Peter,
Sorry about the downtime. There was a problem with the database (nothing was lost!) and we're back in business. It wasn't difficult to bring the site back up.. it's just one of those "don't panic" situations Regards, Frank A. Tropea Admin - "Keep your wheels on the ground!" - Contact Me |
