Default How many people......

use the Segway as their only mobility aid.

I use the Segway and a Quickie push chair.

For me it's 60-75% Segway and the rest of the time chair or on foot.
I always need to carry a cane.

Most people I know use both a chair and Segway. Of course I hang with Quads, Paras and amps.....

Be Big,
Alan

Right now it's 90/10 Wheelchair to Segway but with mods who knows. traveling with a seg without a van/lift is too time consuming to be practical.
Here in California I hang with fruits and nuts.

Wrong, Eric. The question and the answer are mutually exclusive. Knowing one excludes you from knowing the other. Sorry about that.

Default I use to use both.

I use to work with a great group of people we called it the quadsquad sunday drive. Every hand able joystick controler was utilized our biggest group was 5. We took over the roads, the segway, standing like a buggy whip flag right in a intersection seeing the whites of the eyes of others.

The smiles outweighed the laughter, because limitation was squaled for just a moment and the participants were more at risk than everybody else and able to enjoy it.

Thats something a lot of people take for granted. So I will vote with understanding 'What is a Segway', or as most multiple choice questions all of the above.

Knowing what I know now, I think a push chair could be accepted as a mobility device, untill you fall, or get better.

Graduate to mobilty, retier at eye level.
Crash
Have a nice day.

I hear you Crash.
I did this getting out of the quickie yesterday. Damn brakes.

Never broke anything on the Segway. Those push chairs should be banned.
If someone was behind the chair they could have been killed, or even worse..........LOL

Be Big,
Alan

Hell. I've ended up in this thing so often that I "ditched" the little pump and now use the compressor in the garage !!! LOL

Oh well you know what they say:

"Walkies" wobble and they DO fall down" !!

Myself, I use a cane and a Segway. Say about 50/50, short walks I can get by with my cane most of the time, but for long distances, Segway all the way.

I worry about Mr. L. That's the third posting in the last month from him I've understood. Is he ill? ...Got his meds right? ...Took a head shot whilst playing polo? Or--shudder--am I beginning to morph?
