The red coil looks like a deadman's switch, wonder what the black wire is - the same thing, only manual? I imagine these would be quite noisy, Rich, yes.
But for everyone who has indicated the only problem with the HT was that you couldn't stand on it sideways this might work for them. Pam |

Throttle and brake, the black cord is.
One of the videos show a "torture test". There is absolutely nothing impressive about it's capabilities aside from the way it is ridden. It's a nice piece of engineering but my seg with knobbies can do better in every way - except for top speed. If they make an electric two wheel drive version that can actually tackle some real terrain (or at least go uphill well) then I might have to get one. Rich H |

I saw these at NextFest in San Francisco last year. The reps were bad-mouthing Segways when I was walking by.
They look kinda fun, but I think I'd maybe use it once or twice a year. -Alex |
