I think the difference is the length of the folding leg. When deployed the longer x2 kickstand on an i2 would leave the platform fairly level and it would have to be tilted back further to allow it to retract.

Unless Jens corrects me I think that would be the only difference, but I am sure that if you emailed him (jens.krause AT 4krause.com)and asked that specific question he would expand if neccessary.

I was able to test the stand on an x2 today - seems to work very well!

I've had some exchanges with Jens and he is a pleasure to work with. I inquired about the seemingly excessive angle the stand leaves the seg at. In Germany, it seems, kickstands have to either disable the machine they hold up, or automatically retract if the machine begins travelling. Their kickstand has to hold the Segway at an angle that doesn't allow it to go into balance mode.

I asked about using the x2 kickstand on an i2, and he actually did a report and took pictures for me. The x2 kickstand holds the i2 perfectly level, meaning it is very possible to accidentally put the machine into full balance mode with kickstand deployed, likely resulting in injury or damage to the machine/stand. Personally I know my machine well enough not to do this, so I will look into buying the x2 stand once some money comes my way.

Default A Little Help Please?

I went to Jens' website and purchased a stand for my I2 and paid through PayPal. Jens sent me an email saying that he can't ship them to the US on his lawyers' advice (thanks to the litigious nature of the US as a whole) but all my subsequent emails have been returned from the German Mailer Daemon.
Does anyone have an alternate way to reach him?
I'd really like to try the stand, but at the very least I'd like to get my $$ back.

Default I've emailed him about this

I've had frequent contact with Jens over all my purchases, so I've emailed him direct, referring him to this thread. Hopefully you'll get a quick response.
