Iron Man Movie

Watched the new Iron Man movie last night and had to give a little segway smile when the Iron Monger (Jeff Bridges) rides across the parking lot on a Segway-and dismounts like a pro!!!

The Segway then tips over because the G.D.kick stand is junk. It is the highlight of the movie.

Actually - they did a brilliant piece of editing at that point in the movie where someone puts their hand on the Seg and grabs it just as it starts to go forward and does a stick shake.

Too bad the CG folks didn't come up with a virtual kickstand we could drool over.

i was wondering about that. thought it was an E-I2 version or something.. very cool. well, here's to more segway sightings. Good thing hollywood already loves the segway.

I could be wrong - but I see the Segway getting more popular now that gas is approaching $4.00 per gallon. Places in England and Europe where it was "banned" are now reversing those bans.

It is becoming more popular as an alternative here in the states as well.
Just what I think...
