i167 Safety Shutdown when handlebars raised

I had one last thought... I may take the handlebar apart again, and then pre-stretch the stretchy cables on the inside to take away a bunch of the tension that's in there when the handlebars are raised. I'm hoping I can carefully stretch them loose enough so nothing tugs when the handlebars are raised and lowered... We'll see what happens!

Please do be careful, the handlebars/cables are very difficult and expensive to find these days.
I should know, as I've had 2 gen ones with cables that were being cut by the shafts movement.
