Remolding Gen 1 Handle Grips
To those few of the few...Generation 1 owners. Our two Segways are in need of new handlebar grips. The rubber is degrading. So, I will be making molds and casting replacements.
Is there anyone in need, or interested? I'll post some photos once I get everything rounded up.

I never followed up on this. I don't check the web site too often.
I have a mold for the short grip. I should have one for the long grip soon. It just hasn't been a priority... Photos should be below this. Please let me know if they aren't showing up. (I can't use the site's internal photo hosting due to low file size limits). The first photo is the grip before the old rubber is removed. The second and third photos show the grip with fresh rubber and with the pour and vent still attached. It works out pretty well so far. I've done two. The hardest part is getting the old rubber off!
