Noisy minipro
I'm 82, and for the past two years have used a Minipro to run around my retirement project. A terrific resource!
However, it's recently begun making a sort of metallic rattling noise. It's not loud, and of course is audible only when riding - even on very smooth surfaces. Everything external seems to be tight, so I suspect a bearing. Obviously, I cannot afford a locked wheel and a fall... Checkable? Repairable? THANKS! |

Look at your tire pressure. Low tire pressures (20psi vs 45psi) can cause a movement sound against the plastic hub.
Check the bearing by turning tire by hand and seeing if there is looseness or grinding. If problems, there used to be new hubs available online or follow a youtube instructions on how to take apart the hub. |

The cause?
Hi
Did you find what caused it? We have a minipro with similar noise. |
