By the way, Gareth, your two "example" links on "most informative or detailed" inadvertently point to the same place! LOL! Or were you just trying to make sure I'd reply? LOL Interesting choice on the example "most helpful" links. Sometimes I hesitate to chirp up because I am concerned I may quash someone's imaginative idea. I try to be diplomatic and point out alternatives when and where I can. And thanks to the members of the judging panel to expend the time and effort to put this awards presentation together. I hope everyone has had fun. |

esoteric
Mr_Laurenzano's prose almost remind me of EE Cummings ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._E._Cummings )! Something tells me that after reading a poem or two by Mr Cummings, it'd be a cakewalk for Mr_Laurenzano to adapt his style of prose to use Mr Cummings style.

Thank you!
A belated THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the nomination and the hard work of all those involved in the awards. I would name you all specifically, but I wanted to keep this post as generic as possible.

Hi Jonathan, I hope there will be but I've personally not got the time to cover it this year. There was some disucssion from the other judges recently but I guess at this late stage, we'd be pushing it.
It was certainly a lot of fun to work on last year and I'd hoped it could be an annual event which would grow and develop and receive greater involvement from the community.

A couple of us talked about it this summer
But with so many people so busy, no one seemed to have the time to work on it.
So add it to the many things in the Segway world that seem to have gone by the wayside. SEG America Red / Info Key Webchats with the corporation Brookstone. Just don't add SegwayfesT to the list of the DEAD yet!

One of the challenges with the webchats was coming up with new topics or any topic that wouldn't simply be a repeat of a previous chat. For instance, Doug Field is always available to have those kinds of chats, but what new questions did people have that hadn't already been asked and answered at a SegFest or previous chat?
Of course, with the release of Gen2, I think such a chat would be an excellent idea and there would be new questions... and if there's a lot of such interest in that topic, we may be able to setup something ourselves with Inc's help... But with the interview someone is doing, we might wait and see how many questions are answered there too. Be thankful Brookstone is gone. That was not a good idea in hindsight. J
