Big seg and chat fan from downunder

Hey everybody,

Finally registered today and looking forward to reading more really informative posts from passionate segway riders.

I am very new to this industry and have only experienced the seg a few times. But this will soon change in a few weeks, when a PT arrives on my doorstep.

I am looking in to the segway tour game very seriously and segwaychat has provided me with a few very helpful hints, and I'am very thankful for that. It is going to be alot of hard work. A sure change from being a shooooer on the Sydney Harbour Bridge ( chasing kangaroos off the bridge so cars can cross )

Anyway looking forward to the challenge. And the challenge of getting answers from segway inc.
Just as a matter of interest, do you have to be an up and running tour before they register you as a dealer? Do you need to be a dealer to have a successful tour company? I don't know. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Sorry in advance if these questions shows my ignorance in the subject.

Has any one tried herding cats on a Segway? (EDS Superbowl commercial?)

My cat was suspicious when my Seg first came to live in my living room, but he soon decided it made a great stalking blind. Now he has progressed to sitting on the footrests while it charges. I have the comfort mats but I doubt their cat comfort...

Oh no! I didn't even think of if Garfield (My cat :P) would steal it from me! And considering the fact that he usually lies on top of a radiator, he doesn't care what he's on, as long as it's either hot, or of great annoyance to us :P

I have to come up with a plan to keep him away from the x2 when i get it...
