Hi from Bellevue/Seattle -
I got to ride my first Segway today.
Now, I'm looking for places to sell all my worldly possessions so that I may acquire the precious device. *waves to all* Hello! |

Seattle, eh? I fell in love with your city, having accidentally booked a hotel near the Seattle Center at the same time as the Folklife Festival. Bright skies, shirtsleeve weather, musicians, dancers... and the last hippies left on earth. It was glorious.
I walked quite a few miles up one hill and down another, taking in neighborhood coffeehouses and wondering how I could ever afford the pricey real estate. I wished I'd brought my seg. Then I left for Vancouver, where I wished I had my seg again. |

Scotty-thank you for the ride to Corvallis, and for catching me at the curb cut.
Dave-I know what you mean. I lived in that part of Seattle (also wondering how I could afford the real estate) for over five years before moving 20 miles north for my job last year. It's a lovely neighborhood, and it would have been nice to have a Seg there. |
