Default Evolution of Toyota "personal mobility"

It looks like they're (at least theoretically) looking to "put on a show" with some of their prototype "personal mobility" vehicles.

It's like Disney on Ice Except way different.

And yes, this does have something to do with self-balancing technology -- they have a walking robot (I'm assuming very prototypish, since they expect it to carry mobility-impaired people UP STAIRS). Either that, or Japan is not a sue-happy country.

The legged one is the coolest thing since the Segway! Imagine people's faces riding one of those down a sidewalk?

If it were more "person-sized", it would be very interesting. And if it went faster than its current top speed of 0.83 mph. And if it worked on real-world terrain. And if it weren't a prototype.

But yeah I agree -- that would be a trip. Hopefully, not literally though.
