Default ES4 fork disassembly tool

Hi there,

Can anyone please tell me which special tool I need to disassemble the fork of an ES4 and where to get it from?

Already ordered a wrong part (27mm GY6 lock spanner and wrench) and don't want to buy more wrong tools

thanks!

Welcome to the forum crtman,

How about making something?

If you had a piece of pipe that would slip inside there, could you feed those wires through or are the connected to stuff on (and) the handlebar?

If you could get a round pipe down in there, then simply cut away that one end or grind, leaving the 'teeth' to grab the locknut.
Once you get that part, then a pair of pliers or stiltson wrench to turn you fabricated adapter.
I am sure somewhere, someone has a tool, but myself, I could make one easier than hunting around the internet for one.

If the wires were not in the way it would be even easier yet.
So can you remove the wires for this repair?

Please return and let us know if you find one for sale or if you are successful making something. I am certain this question is going to come up again. It is your feedback that helps us to help others.
Cheers!

Hi fabricGator,

thanks for the information. unfortunatelly I don't have any tools other then knife and torx here with me. back home that would be a valid option but here it might end up been more expensive to buy all necessary things to craft one..

I still have hope to find one on sale somewhere..

thanks again!

Understood.

Best of luck finding the tool. The cure for what ails you...
Please consider returning here and letting us know what worked or what you end up doing.
Cheers!
