Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Did anyone see the movie?
I read the books and just saw the film today and loved it! Yes, they changed a few things, but I thought it was put together masterfully, and the theater audience seemed very responsive, too... at times there was so much laughing I couldn't hear the dialogue! -Justin "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams." -From Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory |

Hey you hoopy frood! Didja bring a towel when you went and saw it? I did!
Amazing movie, perfectly captured the spirit of the books, while making enough changes to make a good movie. I'm going to try to see it again on Monday. ------------------------- Fear not, for even though I come from the Forbidden City, I surely do not agree with the rules. Chris Knight |

Ha, I didn't think to bring a towel, but I'm sure I'll be seeing it in the theaters again soon!

Everybody who thinks the Segway "User's Guide" should have "DON'T PANIC" in large, friendly letters on the cover, raise your hand...

Is the movie just based on the first book or more?
As far as the books go, |

Mr. P. I'm in... my hand's in the air and I'm geek enough to go buy it and watch it with my wife again. we listened to the books on tape - I've still got them. the movie was done soooo well.
to the uninitiated reading this thread, I suggest you find a fish and stick it in your ear. (OK, that sounded bad, it wasn't, see the movie!) Babble Fish that is... SO... more to come, has to be... there are 5 books in the TRILOGY. Yep, trilogy, go figure. Guess he got to number 3 and got on a roll. hey, what do I know anyway. I'm only part of the 3rd most intelligent life form on This planet. so long and thanks for all the fish. BM Bill Mullen JM Lexus Margate, FL 33073 800 805-3987 [email protected] |
