Segways and the "legally blind"
This is for those who may know someone who has lost some degree of vision and has been required to give up driving.
There is a NEW product for the visually impaired which may help them improve their vision to near 20/40-20/p60 acuity. This product is called "eSight" . Read more about it at: http://www.esighteyewear.com Understand that 85% of legally blind individuals suffer from low vision difficulties but are NOT totally blind. While not being able to regain driving rights is hard one could very easily adjust to the skills necessary for glideing on a Segway. Just like Segway use for other disability users this eSight device can restore confidence and self-respect to its users. And don't just read the text...WATCH the posted videos to help yourself understand what the visually impaired are really experiencing. be safe, enjoy your glide.... even the "legally blind" Bob Yarbrough the PONY SEAT guy
