Power Zinc Fuel Cells

I found this site today while digging around, and they have some interesting products. http://www.powerzinc.com should get you there. Just look for Products and Applications to find the two batteries available.

Basically, they have a closed loop fuel cell that is delivering up to 5X the range of a Lead-Acid battery. Pretty impressive looking data. I wonder if they could make some to fit inside a Segway? Oh, and the best part; they recharge in five minutes! How cool is that!

This looks to me like "fuel cell" is incorrect. It looks to be zinc-air BATTERY technology, but with a twist. Picture a bank of non-rechargable batteries. You exhaust them, and then at a "recharge station" a machine basically remanufactures the elements.

That is sort of nifty, IF that recharge machine works reliably and cheaply. And how does it need to be serviced? Hmmmm... now I'm worried :-)
