Haha, the X2 was a poor choice but it was a non runner at the right price to prove gen2 compatability.

In truth the i2 would make a better test bed but I coudn't get one.

Yes Flightlogic! Nimh are not classed as hazmat.

Not only that, they are about half the cost of lifepo4 cells, they "DO NOT VENT WITH FLAME" no matter what you do to them, and if I use the lithium cases I think I can squeeze 10000 mA in there, yes there is a weight penalty for that capacity but it's not that much.

The one caveat is that under extreme load there is a voltage dip but that is on the edge of abuse and unlikely to ever be a problem, the segway will limit the available power anyway.
