Repair Attempt 4 - Take batteries off Segway. Set batteries aside for 60-90 minutes. Replaced batteries and started up Segway.
Result - Segway i180 with yellow fenders is now running normally. Left it running for an hour against the refrigerator with green smiley face
Hopped on and rode around kitchen to celebrate.
