Unfortunately a brand new 2nd battery this did not make a difference. Segway sent me a brand new 2nd-battery that I tried to plug in and still could not get it working. Also could not update the firmware using the app and nothing would work unless I disconnected my 2nd-battery.
They actually paid to have them ship the ENTIRE unit back to them and are fixing it at their facility. It's amazing how a silly little firmware update messed up my scooter.
I will not be applying any new firmware updates after this lesson.
