Steve Pratt was kind enough to meet me in Spokane mid October for a test ride. It was Steve's personal Gldr A1 low seat that I tested. I have balance issues on mounting the SegSaddle but was able to mount and dismount the Freedom Gldr with ease. The only problem was that there was no footrest so my feet dangled..... but apparently the B1 (high seat model) with a footrest option would have worked well. My only other issue is that it doesn't seem to have the polished/refined build quality of Brian's SegSaddle. The Gldr parts were primarily of moulded plastic and PVC components, although that certainly shouldn't affect it's reliability........who knows maybe better over the years. Steve also mentioned that he was working on a kickstand option that would stabilize the GldR. I would recommend you test ride the GldR (for your situation) because it is certainly affordable and it is evident that Steve has been using this for a while because it provides him with amazing mobility on his X2 Segway.
