Tyre (or tire) pressure?
Have you checked the pressure of the air in each tyre (UK)/tire (USA)?
It is very important that BOTH are inflated to the SAME pressure, otherwise the device will feel as if it is "drunk" when you speed up or slow down (especially noticeable when slowing down fast!). Experiment with pressures 35 psi to 40+ psi and see what you prefer.
