I primarily access this forum thru two laptop computers... One is my Toshiba at home, and the other is my Dell at work...

The Dell uses Internet Explorer on an NT base... I have never had the log out problems...

The Toshiba uses Firefox on a Vista base. I do get logged out often, but that Vista program has holes all over the place... I have recently had to wipe my drive and start it again... Not because of any obvious worms, but because of a random and rotating assortment of operations that disappear and sometimes reappear from time to time... (Like sound of streaming video, or the fact that recently, my windows forgot how to access its own drivers for the onboard DVD drive...)

This is why earlier I posted that I had suspected the problem was local in my computer, and not on the site... At least I am not sure of where the problems lie...
