It's now done 300km/186 miles fault free. I've heard the life of these things particularly the electrics and motors isn't long though. At the moment I drive it every day to work. Should I start easing off?

I already keep it on a smooth surface and drive it mostly in a straight line, but I am guilty of flooring it at max speed consistently.
