I just bought a new Segway Ninebot es2. I chose it over the Xiaomi line of scooters because I think the Ninebot es series has a much cooler design. But now I see advertisements for the new Ninebot Kickscooter Max and it looks like a Xiaomi design. Why choose such a horrible design? No suspension, air filled tires (flats) and just an overall boring appearance. I hope they don't discontinue the es design. Granted, it has its flaws but it's such a better design. Not to mention there are already so many crappy Xiaomi clones on the market.... nobody is going to be able to tell the difference or even care to. I like the 40 miles range (probably only about 20, considering how manufacturers stretch the truth) but I absolutely hate the design.

Segway/Ninebot please continue perfecting the design and function of the "es" line of scooters (es1, es2, etc). We need less Xiaomi clones.

Anyone feel the same way?
