Ok, I think I saw this coming. Correct me if I am wrong, but this only applies to cruises between US ports. I think it is called the "Jones Act" that forbids ships that are not US flagged to load and unload cargo between US ports. That came up during the BP oil spill.
Yes, it would be nice to be treated well everywhere, but that might take years to accomplish. The best way I know to get on the right line is to write all of them the same letter, requesting your wants and needs, and don't use the cruise lines that aren't disabled-friendly?
