One thing to note about the RYNO is that it has a set of traditional throttle and brake controls. They function much like controlling a Segway RMP. When given the command to move forward, the control system moves the wheels backwards a bit to force a forward-lean, then forward propulsion is possible. Stopping would happen the same way a Segway enforces a slow-down/stop: The wheels are propelled ahead of the center of mass, and then safe deceleration is possible.
