Angry Aftermarket tires- void warranty?

I can't get a straight answer out of technical support. I have replaced my stock tires with larger nobby tires and new fenders. I need to send it in for service, as the control arm is going bad and causing erratic steering issues. They are happy to repair it under warranty, but I am concerned that if I send it in with the new tires, they are going to tell me I voided the warranty. The best answer I have gotten from the support email is that it "shouldn't" void the warranty. I don't want to get it shipped in, only to find out they are going to deny my claim. Legal precedent with all other vehicle types shows that consumables like tires cannot void the warranty if replaced. However, I am not taking it to the Supreme Court, so I will just swap the old tires back on if I have to. However, it is a real PITA to swap the tires and fenders, so I would prefer to just send it the way it is now. Anyone know for sure?
