I've had my i2 for almost 12 years, and it's been running great.

I'm thinking about picking one up for my wife, before they're too hard to find.

Great Lakes Segway has a pretty good web site, but I'm wondering if it's a good idea. One thing that gives me pause is their return policy: "All New & Used PT returns must be done in-person at Great Lakes Segway. Units may not be shipped to us." Given that I'm near Boston and they're in Michigan…

Has anyone purchased from them, know about them, or recommend (against?) them?

I'm wondering what happens if I buy an older i2 from them, and the batteries are shot. Yes, they're under warranty, but having to drive to MI to return it is a non-starter.

Alternatively, does anyone near-ish to Boston have an i2 they'd like to sell?
