I just went an looked at this auction, and it says that it was cancelled by the seller. He pulled it just like he said he would, because he did not get enough money.

I don't know. The whole thing struck me as fishy, but other people set their radar differently than I.

"Real" segways come from New Hampshire, but that does not mean that anything from some other place is not worthy of at least looking at, and giving it a chance. Knock offs from China do not have a flawless record, but some are fine. Some knock offs from Japan are actually better than the originals, in my opinion. I will give any reasonable situation a consideration.

However, marketing scams and purposeful confusion generally reflect poorly on the engineering of a device. Truly worthy pieces of hardware sell themselves, and do not require "all sales final with no refunds" while requiring that they be purchased sight unseen, and other tricks like that.
