Amazon Selling MiniPlus $799 maybe
 

It is on their site at $799 but says "usually ships in 1 to 2 months." What the heck?

And they have the black minipro at $599, the 2018 minipro at $699 (260wh battery), and the white minipro at $799. None of them have any information on what makes them different from the others.

Who is running this crap? Who ever it is would be the kind of salesman to list the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, as just iPhone but at different prices with different colors and no info on what is different internally. Last in his graduating class from business school? No sale.

I wonder if Amazon had a batch of them to start selling during the holiday season and ran out almost immediately--and the "1 to 2 months" means "don't expect it before Christmas".

Best Buy is also selling the miniPLUS now, or at least it seems that they may have been selling it before it "sold out". $729.99 including the current discount. And they list more specs--although I have not verified those specs' accuracy.

That sounds very like Amazon, they are not that great at planning out their orders sometimes but at least they keep their promises when it comes to prices.

Good news. I am happy with my minPros but it will be fun seeing people post videos of these new Segways they got for Christmas. See how the follow me mode works and the lighted up wheel hubs.

It is, no joke, the greatest Segway I have ever owned.

Just kidding. What Segways have you owned before? How is the speed as I hear it is faster than the MiniPro? My thinking is that no matter how fast you go, it will quickly feel too slow and complaints about lean back will appear.

This is my first Segway ever. I have ridden on several different models in the past and this thing blows them away. It's super agile and quick. turns on a dime too.
